125th Commemoration of the Battle of Duck Lake

June 25th, 2010 - June 26th, 2010

June 25th 7:30pm- Commemoration ceremony at the Duck Lake Regional Interpretive Centre with dancers, drummers and speeches by invited guests and Elders.  Join us as we remember the fallen and tell their stories.

June 25th 9pm- Commemorative Cabaret-Join us as we gather for a good old rural get together and enjoy the wonderful fiddling music of Duck Lake Métis artists Darren Lafond and the Voyageurs.  Tickets $10/person includes midnight lunch.

June 26th-Music Festival with Johnny Arcand, Andrea Menard, Ovid Pilon, Terry Ann Strongarm and Donny Parenteau.  Includes presentations and a pancake breakfast to start your day.  Beer gardens and food booths on site.  Children's activities provided by Fort Carlton Provincial Historic Park.  Tickets just $25/person, $10/youth & kids 5 and under are free.
